Omid is a creative director, art director, designer, writer, maker. A multidisciplinary storyteller who works with the advertising, art and entertainment industries to create cultural experiences that create coveted brands. At Venables Bell and Partners he was the first art director to join the agency for understanding how ideas translate to interactive and social experiences for brands. Soon after working on just about every interactive brief, he was assigned to the Audi account where his efforts culminated with the creation of the Green Police Super Bowl commercial and supporting web content. The spot was the agency's most successful Super Bowl appearance to date, ranking sixth (out of 64/ highest ranked car ad) in the USA Today Ad Meter and even landing an Emmy nomination by The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. More recently, alongside Muh-tay-zik| Hof-fer, Omid was the creative lead behind slaveryfootprint.org. The project was funded by The State Department and brought to the agency by 'Made in a Free World,' a Bay Area non-profit. The project's goal was educating the public on the complicated subject of modern day slavery. Our response was to start with a simple question, “How many slaves work for you?” The site has been awarded by just about every industry organization, including a Bronze Lion at Cannes and with the most notable shout out coming from President Barak Obama himself. Born in Tehran and partially schooled in France, Omid is now based in San Francisco where he lives with a bunch of thriving succulents in San Francisco’s beautiful Mission district. His home was built in 1875 with a strong foundation for handling all the shakes and rumbles that are part of life in this fine city.
